Our Standing Committees
AMI runs a number of standing committees bringing together representatives from mortgage intermediary practitioners who feed into our policy work. Attendance on our standing committees is by invitation only.
We currently run three standing committees which meet every two months:
Director General’s Contact Group (DGCG)
A group for representatives from member firms to keep abreast of industry developments and discuss the latest issues.
Compliance Forum
A forum for compliance managers at member firms to discuss the latest compliance issues and feed into AMI policy on technical issues.
Equity Release Standing Committee
Formed out of our Equity Release Working Group, this newly-formed standing committee cuts across both AMI and AIFA and is made up of members of both trade bodies. Its aim is to help AMI provide information to members who are considering on entering the sector and increasing the standards of advice in this market.
