AMI Protection Viewpoint 2024 – we need your views

AMI’s Protection Viewpoint is back, and we need your help for the adviser survey.

We would be grateful if all mortgage advisers working within mortgage advice firms, whether members or not, could please complete our short five minute survey to give us the best possible set of representative results. The survey will close on 21st August.

You can complete the survey here.

The questions cover approaches to protection, the tools used by advisers, the impact of Consumer Duty and insurers’ service levels.

Why should advisers get involved?

  • It only takes five minutes to complete.
  • Responses are anonymous.
  • They don’t have to be an AMI member.
  • Their views will shape this year’s report.
  • The findings will help identify the opportunities, barriers and challenges from an intermediary perspective.

Andrew Montlake, Chairman of the AMI Board, said:

“The AMI Protection Viewpoint Report has established itself as the most far-reaching insight into the protection market, showing just how brokers and the public interact with the industry.

In previous years it has highlighted a whole range of trends, challenges, and food for thought that have directly influenced the processes and decision making of many firms within the industry.

Protection remains one of the most important areas of growth, especially in a post-Consumer Duty world, and broker insight has proved invaluable to ensuring that the sector remains relevant and continues to move forward and adapt to the needs of consumers.

We hope to hear from as many different voices as possible and your views really do make a difference.”

We will share this year’s consumer and adviser research findings alongside sponsors L&G and Royal London in a virtual launch event at 9am on Tuesday 5th November – register your place now.
