AR regime review

FCA has confirmed that the Section 165 data request will be sent to all principal firms with active ARs/IARs in December 2022. Principals will then have 60 days after receiving the data request to submit the data on all their existing ARs/IARs.

AMI is engaging with the AR regime team at the FCA to raise some initial questions following the publication of the policy statement. In addition, AMI’s working group (a selection of firms affected by the changes to the AR regime) will meet again in mid-September to discuss any concerns and challenges.
