The FCA is introducing multi-factor authentication to strengthen how firms log into its systems and to further protect and control access to data.
Users will need to authenticate and enter a one-time passcode every time you log into:
Users will be prompted to register and turn on multi-factor authentication when they log in from 20 Jan 2023 (16 February for ESS).
Firms that provide compliance services for other firms should speak to these firms to request they register you as a firm user on each system. You can then turn on multi-factor authentication when you log in.
