Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme asked that hosts commit for a minimum of six months, however ‘thank you’ payments of £350 per month are available for up to 12 months. As we are now more than six months into the scheme, UK Finance has issued a blog post confirming that for mortgage customers continuing to host or those that have decided to newly open up their home under the scheme, the waiver on mortgage terms and conditions continues. If brokers or mortgage customers require further details, they should review the relevant pages on their lenders’ websites.
