How inclusive is your industry?

Is the mortgage industry truly inclusive?

It’s a question that matters. One we can only answer with honest input from across the industry.  Without your voice, it can’t be answered. So now is the time to have your say.

It has been five years since AMI published their first Diversity and Inclusion Viewpoint. Now, Working in Mortgages (a joint initiative between the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA)) alongside our sponsors Aldermore, United Trust Bank, Skipton Building Society and Santander, have launched an industry-wide survey to explore what it really feels like to work in the intermediary sector today. This new Viewpoint will revisit the findings from 2021, examining what has improved, what needs to continue, what needs to stop, and what new actions the industry must take to build a more inclusive and equitable environment for everyone working in mortgages.

Have your say

At the heart of the Working in Mortgages initiative, this research aims to uncover whether people feel included, respected and able to be themselves at work and, most importantly, what more needs to be done to build a genuinely inclusive industry.

Delivered in partnership with inclusion research specialists Versiti, the findings will provide an independent, honest view of our sector.

We want to hear from you.

Whether you work alone or in a small or large firm, whether you are new to the industry or a long‑standing professional, whether you are a broker, administrator, manager or director, your voice matters.

Take the survey and encourage your colleagues to do the same.

It takes just 15 minutes, is completely anonymous, and all responses are handled in strict confidence (please note: it can’t be saved and returned to later).

Results will be published in September as part of a Working in Mortgages Viewpoint report, turning your insight into a powerful, industry-wide perspective that will help shape the future of our sector.

Have your say and help drive meaningful change.
