Later Life Lending Summit returns for a second year

Later Life Lending Summit returns for a second year

Brought to you by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) and the Equity Release Council (ERC), we are excited to announce that the Later Life Lending Summit is back for its second year in Sheffield on 6th November.

This year’s Summit will see the formal launch of our joint statement with AMI: From Designing to Delivering the Future: From Summit to Shared Commitment.’ Shaped by insights from the 2024 Summit, the Fairer Finance 2025 report and the FCA’s Mortgage Rules Review, this statement sets out a clear roadmap for change.

We’ll work together to:

  • Strengthen adviser education and qualifications across mortgage and later life disciplines.
  • Design structured referral and collaboration models that make holistic advice deliverable in practice.
  • Engage proactively with regulators and government to shape proportionate, joined-up frameworks.
  • Champion transparency and consumer understanding to build trust.
  • Explore responsible uses of technology and data to enhance, not replace, personalised advice.

Why Attend

Attendees at the event will receive over five hours of structured CPD – accredited by the LIBF. Breakfast, lunch, hot beverages and an industry networking drinks reception are all included in your ticket price of £60 (plus VAT).

This year’s programme will feature:

Launch of Safe Steps – our new industry support hub on vulnerability, with real customer-led content and workshops

Technology insights – how digital tools are breaking down barriers and empowering advisers

Interactive Think Tanks – your opportunity to directly influence how the roadmap is delivered.

Targeted sessions for emerging advisers and those exploring new opportunities in later life lending.

The 2024 Summit sparked the conversation.

The Shared Commitment framework has set the direction.

Now it’s time to turn agreement into action, together.

We look forward to seeing you there.
