The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has released two new free tools designed to help smaller firms stay secure online and protect their businesses.

Cyber action plan – only takes five minutes to complete and results in tailored advice for firms on how they can improve their cyber security.

Check your cyber security – performs a range of simple online checks to identify common vulnerabilities in your firm’s public-facing IT.

All checks are remote, without the need to install software and uses the same kind of publicly available information as cyber criminals use to find easy targets.
